A receiver that detects the signal and a mount that fits the tool are two separate checks. Start with the exact model numbers.
Manufacturer-listed, not field-tested. Bosch entries below come from its UK LR 7 page, observed 21 September 2026. Other combinations remain unverified.
A listed combination does not verify every operating mode, distance or mounting arrangement. Confirm current UK documentation for the exact model and package.
BEFORE YOU ORDER
Three checks, one usable setup
01
Check the signal
Match the exact receiver to the exact laser. Check line versus rotary operation, required pulse or receiver mode, and the manufacturer’s supported-model list.
Colour alone does not establish compatibility.
A target plate is not an electronic receiver.
A distance meter is not a line laser.
02
Check the connection
Read the thread specification on both sides. A nominal 1/4-inch or 5/8-inch fitting is only the starting point; confirm thread pitch and the correct adapter.
Check that the screw does not bottom out.
Check clamp size and mounting orientation.
Use a suitable support for the tool’s weight.
03
Check the task
Once attached, confirm that the bracket does not obscure a beam or plumb point. Check line height, adjustment travel, stability and access to the controls.
Test detection at the intended distance.
Approach a receiver from above and below.
Recheck the reference after moving the setup.
